Cooking with Fire Friday Maritime Music with Kim Doolittle

Part of our new Cooking by the Fire Friday series, we love brining people together to enjoy food, drinks and music! Our intimate kitchen party style social dining events are memorable and you leave with great memories and new friends. Enjoy dinner, entertainment and the beauty of Scots Bay on a summer evening!

Just steps from the Beach at Scott's Bay Provincial Park, The Long Table Social Club enjoys a gorgeous view of the Bay and it's amazing sunsets (on a clear day).  This Cooking with Fire culinary and social dinging experience will have you mix and mingle with other guests, sitting together at long tables, eating and drinking great local food while listening to good music.

Musician Bio:

Kim Doolittle is a Singer, Songwriter, Storyteller, Musician, Wordsmith and Entertainer. She was born a Musician, did her first paid gig at 10 years of age and she has performed around the world.  She spent many years in Toronto, playing with many great Canadian Musicians. Nine Original recordings and many years later, she has returned to her Native Nova Scotia where she has reconnected with her Maritime roots while working on her 10th full studio album called “My New Old Hometown”. She will perform a mix of classic Maritime music and originals to provide a truly authentic Maritime music experience. 

Event Details: 

Please arrive between 6pm and 6:30pm to enjoy the event to the fullest. If the weather is good enough, we will be outside on the patio. If not, we will reserve inside for ticketed guests. This is a ticketed event, advanced tickets are required to guarantee a spot. Tickets are $10 (plus tax and fees) to cover the cost of entertainment. Please select one of two dining options, prix fixe or a la carte when purchasing your ticket. For this event we will have two dining options and we will not be serving our regular Dinner menu. Please purchase your ticket according to the type of meal that you would like to purchase.

Prix Fixe Menu:

5 courses

1. Bannock with butter and chutney sauce
2. Hodge Podge
3. Mussels with Smokey Bacon and Cider
4. Maple Glazed Atlantic Salmon with rice and cooked veggies
5. Strawberry Shortcake

A la carte menu

1. Lemon dill haddock with rice and cooked veggies
2. Hodge Podge
3. Mussels with Smokey Bacon and Cider and frites
4. Maple Glazed Atlantic Salmon with rice and cooked veggies
5. Maple glazed tofu and avocado buddah bowl
6. Conquered Cape Split Burger with frites or salad
7. Bay Burger with frites or salad
8. Strawberry Shortcake

Kids Menu ($10+tax)

1. Kids plain burger or cheese burger with frites

2. Grilled cheese with frites

3. Kids cheesy nachos

4. Kids cheese and tomato quesadilla

Please select your meal type in advance when purchasing your advanced ticket. Substitutions will not be permitted during the dinner.

Our style is casual and we encourage you to dress in layers since we are near the ocean and the weather can get cool near sundown! Shirts and shoes required please! Weather permitting, we will be dining outside so please dress according to the weather by the Bay of Fundy!
